Yesterday was a workday
without a break.
Around the clock.
In between, the stable,
but without cats.
Adi doesn’t want to come along.
And Minna isn’t allowed.
Her heat is fading.
Final phase.
A little more restlessness,
then it’ll be calm again
for a few months.
That’s a good thing.
So:
Stable rounds alone.
Work alone.
Cats stay inside.
Anything exciting?
No.
And that is also the truth.
This is not a place
where something happens every day.
The days resemble each other.
Work.
Duty.
Rhythm.
The only difference:
I am always
two hours ahead of you.
In terms of time.
Not mentally.
The cats notice it anyway.
Not, what I do,
but that I do.
Constantly.
Without interruption.
Adi is lying down a lot.
Even more than usual.
The big guy is conserving energy.
Watching.
Sleeping.
Digesting.
He’s content
when nothing is demanded of him.
Minna, on the other hand,
is not quite herself
yet.
The heat is fading,
but it’s still there.
Restless.
Seeking closeness.
Checking again and again
whether the door is really closed.
It is.
In a few days
she’ll be allowed back
to the red neighbor tomcat.
Then things are in order.
Then the issue
is dealt with for now.
Until then:
light house arrest.
Today I’m trying
something else.
YouTube.
Live.
No big announcement.
No event.
No plan.
Just testing the tech.
Whether it runs.
Whether the audio does
what it’s supposed to do.
Whether the image stays
where it is.
I’ll probably
put the cats
into the frame as well.
Quiet.
No big animation.
No circus.
I’ll probably
just let an avatar talk.
Mouth open.
Mouth closed.
Nothing more.
What I’ll do with it then?
No idea.
Maybe nothing.
Maybe later.
Maybe it stays
a pure test.
That’s allowed too.
Not everything here
has to make sense right away.
Some things
are allowed to simply exist.
Adi won’t care.
Minna will check
whether you can lie on it.
And me?
I keep going.
Work.
Stable.
Work.
No drama.
No climax.
Sometimes that is exactly
the state
in which everything works.
To be continued. 🐾🖤

🐱 Cat stuff I can genuinely recommend (tested by Adi & Minna)
✅ 1) Cat scratching tree / climbing tree
Adi is heavy—so the thing has to be sturdy.
Look for: thick sisal posts, a wide base plate,, no wobbling..
➡️ Scratching tree (sturdy & large): (https://amzn.to/4sUbln1)
✅ 2) Cat food – preferably grain-free
Grain-free is often the better choice, since many cats react sensitively to fillers. And: it’s perfect for indoor cats that don’t “hunt outside on the side.”
➡️ Grain-free cat food: (https://amzn.to/4a8sPV7)
✅ 3) Litter box + litter
If it’s supposed to stay clean, you need two things:
- a good litter box (preferably large)
- clumping litterthat binds odors
➡️ Litter box (large & practical): (https://amzn.to/45rypQ1)
➡️ Clumping litter / odor control: (https://amzn.to/45prtTn)
💬 And you? When it’s –15 degrees outside—what’s your lifesaver: a blanket, tea, or a cat? 🖤
