Es ist gleich 21 Uhr.
Und manchmal ist das die Stunde, in der man merkt:
Der Tag ist vorbei – aber der Kopf ist es nicht.
Ich liege schon im Bett.
Der Laptop steht auf dem kleinen Betttisch.
Mein ThinkPad ist offen, als wäre da noch etwas, das erledigt werden muss.
Aber draußen wird es heute Nacht wieder -15 Grad.
Und bei solchen Temperaturen fühlt sich jedes Licht drinnen an wie eine Entscheidung:
Hier bleibt man.
Hier hält man durch.
Adi hat das längst verstanden.
Er liegt rechts am Laptoptisch, so nah, als wäre das sein Platz.
Der Dicke.
Schwer wie ein Siegel.
Nicht schmusig – eher zuständig.
Er passt auf.
Nicht nur auf den Bildschirm.
Auf mich.
Minna ist heute anders.
Sie ist da, aber sie hält Abstand.
Sie schaut, sie prüft, sie merkt sich alles.
Minna kuschelt nicht, wenn sie will, dass ich „ruhig“ werde.
Minna kuschelt, wenn sie entscheidet, dass es Nacht ist.
Und ich kenne das.
Adi übernimmt die Wache sofort.
Minna kommt später – wenn wirklich Schluss ist.
Die Lampe brennt warm, und ich höre dieses leise Nichts,
das man nur hört, wenn draußen alles kalt wird.
Kein Stall.
Keine Wege.
Kein Muss.
Nur Bett.
Laptop.
Kater.
Gleich 21 Uhr.
Und ich denke mir:
Wenn draußen -15 Grad sind, dann ist Wärme nicht Luxus.
Dann ist Wärme Widerstand.

If it’s supposed to stay clean, you need two things:
- a good litter box (preferably large)
