class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Property:<br>2,250 acres \u2013 almost three times the size of Central Park in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But that was apparently only Phase 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Fortune reports, Meta has quietly acquired another 1,400 acres of land\u2014almost twice the size of Central Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This brings the total area to a scale that surpasses even international airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that is no coincidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Phase 2: The Real Plan?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officially, Meta has not commented on additional expansion phases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unofficially, several sources connected to the project say is happening here is part of a much larger trend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The so-called \u201chyperscalers\u201d \u2014 in other words, tech giants like Meta \u2014 are securing at a rapid pace:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Land<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>political support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The AI boom is not a software boom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is an infrastructure boom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whoever controls computing power controls the future of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Military technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medicine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He held up a graphic showing the data center laid over Manhattan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat kind of facility is that?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The answer is clear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A strategic AI factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Energy Hunger: Gigawatts Instead of Kilowatts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To meet the electricity demand, the energy provider Entergy plans to build three new gas power plants \u2014 cost: 3 billion dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because AI models on the path to \u201csuperintelligence\u201d require enormous computing power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg openly speaks of building \u201ctens of gigawatts\u201d of infrastructure this decade \u2014 and later even hundreds of gigawatts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For comparison:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A single gigawatt can supply hundreds of thousands of households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not about server rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is about industrial energy complexes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">500 Jobs \u2014 or Geopolitical Shift?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p
