class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This video is from 2015.<br>I\u2019m publishing it again today because its message isn\u2019t outdated \u2014\nit was pushed aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2014: Peace Without Factions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2014, after the start of the Ukraine conflict, the events around the Maidan, the so-called \u201cOrange Revolution,\u201d the massacres in Donbas, and the fire at the Trade Union House in Odessa, the Monday peace demonstrations emerged in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the beginning, these demonstrations were <strong>open<\/strong>.<br>People from <strong>all political camps<\/strong> came together \u2014 not united by ideology, but by a shared goal: <strong>peace.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were no party flags, no fixed camps, no prescribed attitudes.<br>That is exactly what made this movement so unusual \u2014 and so vulnerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within a short time, these peace demonstrations spread to <strong>more than 140 cities.<\/strong> aus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Halle: Participation and the First Hostilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also took part in Halle \u2014 at my initiative.<br>Even before we became actively involved, public stigmatization began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Early on, the demonstrations were labeled as<br>\u201cinfiltrated by the far right,\u201d<br>\u201caluhat events,\u201d<br>or denounced as a \u201ccross-front.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These accusations did not come from within the movement itself, but from outside:<br>from parts of the Antifa \u2014 and from an <strong>institutionalized peace scene<\/strong>that claimed to stand for peace, but in reality did <strong>not participate.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I deliberately call these structures <strong>a club\/association or NGO mafia:<\/strong>:<br>organizations that operate with government funds, claim interpretive authority \u2014 and at the same time fight genuine, uncontrollable grassroots peace movements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Continuity Instead of Activism<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite \u2014 or precisely because of \u2014 these hostilities, I kept the topic going.<br>The peace demonstration in Halle <strong>continued for years.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um organisatorischen Aufwand zu reduzieren, meldete ich sie langfristig an \u2013 bis 2067.<br>Not as a symbolic gesture, but as an expression of <strong>perseverance.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peace is not an event.<br>Peace is an attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2015: The Conversation on the Town Hall Steps<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2015, I spoke on the steps at the marketplace in Halle with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/geppert.frank\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/geppert.frank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Frank Geppert<\/a><\/strong>.<br>The conversation is documented in the embedded video below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We talk about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Peace beyond slogans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Association and power structures that co-opt or destroy movements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Political guerrilla actions as a form of protest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performance art as a tool to make content visible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back then, I <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/marlas.army\/en\/schon-immer-frau-warum-dokumente-biografie-und-wurde-zahlen\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/marlas.army\/schon-immer-frau-warum-dokumente-biografie-und-wurde-zahlen\/\">deliberately spoke in a male role.<\/a><\/strong> gesprochen.<br>Not as provocation, not as a masquerade \u2014 but as <strong>an artistic device,<\/strong>to be heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That was performance art.<br>But it was not fiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why This Video Matters Today<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of the mechanisms we talked about back then are now clearly visible:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Protest is delegitimized<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peace is rhetorically co-opted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Independent movements are defamed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Institutional actors secure control over the narrative<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This video is not a piece of evidence.<br>It is a <strong>historical document.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am making it available again \u2014 not out of nostalgia, but for context.<br>Listen to it.<br>Not to agree with me \u2014 but to check for yourself what has become
