Dramatische Musik. Star-Wars-\u00c4sthetik.<br>Gut gegen B\u00f6se. Wahrheit gegen L\u00fcge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Botschaft ist klar:<br>Das Internet ist au\u00dfer Kontrolle \u2013 und Europa greift ein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doch hinter all den gro\u00dfen Worten steht eine Frage, die auff\u00e4llig ausgeblendet wird:<br><strong>Was kostet dieses Projekt \u2013 und wer bezahlt es?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">W steht f\u00fcr Werte. Und f\u00fcr Macht.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Plattform wird als europ\u00e4ische Antwort auf X verkauft.<br>Gegen \u201eDesinformation\u201c.<br>F\u00fcr \u201epositive, respektvolle Kommunikation\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die CEO <strong>Anna Zeiter<\/strong> erkl\u00e4rt den Namen so:<br>W stehe f\u00fcr \u201eWe\u201c \u2013 wir.<br>Und f\u00fcr zwei V: Values und Verified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inhalte sollen also nicht nur \u00fcberpr\u00fcft,<br>sondern auch an bestimmte Werte angepasst werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das klingt harmlos.<br>But it didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denn Werte sind nie neutral.<br>Sie sind immer politisch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kein Start-up, sondern ein Elitenprojekt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>W ist keine spontane Idee junger Entwickler in einer Garage.<br>Die Plattform ist eine Tochter der schwedischen Klima-Aktivismus-Plattform<br><strong>We Don&#8217;t Have Time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch ein Gro\u00dfteil der Startfinanzierung stammt aus diesem Umfeld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Firmensitz soll in Schweden liegen,<br>mit B\u00fcros in Berlin, Paris und London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Vorstand sitzen ehemalige Minister, politische Schwergewichte,<br>darunter der fr\u00fchere deutsche Vizekanzler <strong>Philipp R\u00f6sler<\/strong><br>sowie die Club-of-Rome-Vorsitzende <strong>Sandrine Dixson-Decl\u00e8ve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das ist kein Graswurzel-Netzwerk.<br>Das ist ein Projekt der politischen und ideologischen Elite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Die Kostenfrage \u2013 und das gro\u00dfe Schweigen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Offiziell wird nicht kommuniziert,<br>wie viel Geld bereits in W geflossen ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aber jeder, der auch nur grob versteht,<br>was es bedeutet, eine globale Social-Media-Plattform aufzubauen, wei\u00df:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2714 Entwicklung einer skalierbaren Infrastruktur<br>\u2714 Server ausschlie\u00dflich in Europa<br>\u2714 Identit\u00e4tspr\u00fcfung aller Nutzer<br>\u2714 Moderation, Verifikation, Gremien<br>\u2714 Marketing, Events, Davos-Launch<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das ist kein Millionenprojekt.<br>Das ist ein <strong>Hunderte-Millionen-Euro-Projekt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Und hier wird es politisch brisant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denn parallel fordern EU-Abgeordnete offen,<br>die EU-Kommission solle X verlassen<br>und europ\u00e4ische Alternativen <strong>aktiv finanziell f\u00f6rdern<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit anderen Worten:<br><strong>Steuergeld.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wer zahlt am Ende?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die EU hat kein eigenes Geld.<br>Sie verteilt Geld, das aus den Mitgliedsstaaten kommt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Und der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Nettosteuerzahler der EU ist seit Jahren<br><strong>Deutschland<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das bedeutet ganz konkret:<br>Wenn Br\u00fcssel W f\u00f6rdert,<br>wenn europ\u00e4ische Institutionen diese Plattform aufbauen und pushen,<br>dann bezahlt das zu einem erheblichen Teil<br>der deutsche Nettosteuerzahler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicht freiwillig.<br>Nicht transparent.<br>Nicht mit echter Mitsprache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Keine Anonymit\u00e4t \u2013 kein Widerspruch?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein weiteres Kernversprechen von W:<br>Keine Bots.<br>Keine Fake-Accounts.<br>Keine Anonymit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alle Nutzer sollen sich als echte Menschen identifizieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wie genau diese Identifizierung funktioniert,<br>ist bislang offen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But one thing is clear:<br>Wer widerspricht,<br>wer provoziert,<br>wer gegen die \u201eWerte\u201c argumentiert,<br>tut das nicht mehr anonym.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Kombination mit politischer Verifikation<br>entsteht kein freier Debattenraum,<br>sondern ein <strong>gelenkter Diskursraum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fazit: Kontrolle ist kein Vertrauen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ja, das Internet ist chaotisch.<br>Ja, es gibt Desinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aber die Antwort darauf kann nicht sein,<br>Wahrheit durch Gremien festzulegen<br>und Plattformen mit Steuergeld zu bauen,<br>die politisch genehmigte Kommunikation f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vertrauen entsteht nicht durch Kontrolle.<br>Vertrauen entsteht durch offene Auseinandersetzung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Und genau diese Offenheit steht mit Projekten wie W auf dem Spiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Teile diesen
